The VTE Paguro 9000V is a 9 kVA variable-speed marine diesel generator designed to provide 230V, 50Hz single-phase AC power for onboard loads. It uses a permanent-magnet alternator and inverter output, allowing the Lombardini LDW 702 two-cylinder diesel engine to vary its operating speed with demand. The generator is supplied in a sound-insulated marine enclosure with remote control, load indication, hour meter, and automatic shutdown protection.

Continuous output is rated at 8 kW, or 9 kVA, with engine speed varying from approximately 2,000 to 3,000 RPM according to load. The water-cooled diesel engine and alternator use a freshwater cooling circuit with heat exchanger and seawater cooling support. Plan sufficient installation volume, ventilation, exhaust, raw-water intake, fuel supply, electrical protection, service access, and structural support for the complete generator system.

Key Specifications

- Variable-speed marine diesel generator with permanent-magnet alternator and inverter-regulated AC output.
- Provides 8 kW continuous output, equivalent to 9 kVA, at 230V single-phase and 50Hz.
- Uses a Lombardini LDW 702 two-cylinder diesel engine with 686 cc displacement.
- Operates at approximately 2,000 to 3,000 RPM according to electrical load.
- Uses a freshwater heat-exchanger cooling system with seawater circulation.
- Fuel consumption is listed at approximately 0.35 L per kW per hour.
- Noise level is listed at approximately 50 to 53 dB(A) at 7 m, depending on the specification source and installation conditions.
- Includes a remote control system with hour meter, load indicator, automatic low-oil-pressure shutdown, high-temperature shutdown, and remote harness.

System Integration

This generator requires a complete marine-generator installation including diesel fuel supply and return, seawater intake, strainer, anti-siphon arrangement where required, exhaust system, ventilation, battery-start circuit, AC distribution panel, shore-power transfer arrangement, grounding or bonding plan, circuit breakers, and correctly rated cabling. The generator must be installed and commissioned by a qualified marine technician.

Continuous generator capacity must be evaluated against the actual combined load, including battery charger, air conditioning, galley appliances, watermaker, refrigeration, pumps, electronics, and motor starting surges. Do not size the system from nominal kVA alone; account for power factor, inrush current, duty cycle, and simultaneous loads.

Installation Considerations

Provide access for oil, filter, impeller, belt, coolant, and electrical service. Install the sound capsule on a rigid properly supported foundation using the supplied vibration-isolation arrangement. Maintain safe exhaust routing, adequate ventilation, reliable raw-water flow, fuel-system compliance, and electrical isolation from shore power. Test alarms, shutdown functions, cooling flow, exhaust integrity, AC voltage, frequency, and load response during commissioning.

Before Ordering

Confirm required continuous and surge electrical load, 230V single-phase 50Hz compatibility, available engine-room volume, generator dimensions and dry weight, diesel fuel-system integration, seawater intake and exhaust routing, ventilation capacity, starting-battery connection, remote-panel cable route, AC distribution and transfer-switch design, grounding requirements, service access, and qualified marine-generator installation requirements before purchase.
