The Phasor KK3-9.5 is a keel-cooled marine diesel generator for vessels requiring 9.5 kW of 120/240V single-phase 60Hz power. It uses a Kubota D1305-E3BG three-cylinder diesel engine operating at 1,800 RPM with a direct-coupled brushless generator and solid-state voltage regulation. The open-frame configuration is designed for installations with a suitably engineered closed-loop keel-cooling, grid-cooling, or skin-cooling arrangement.
The generator uses an engine-driven circulation pump to move coolant through the vessel cooling circuit. An optional sound enclosure may be selected separately where sound attenuation is needed. The supplied remote gauge panel provides oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and operating-hour information, while automatic protection shuts down the generator for low oil pressure or high coolant temperature.
Key Specifications

Electrical Compatibility
This generator is intended for 120/240V single-phase 60Hz systems. Confirm normal running load, simultaneous electrical demand, power factor, and the highest motor-starting surge before selecting a 9.5 kW generator. Include refrigeration compressors, battery chargers, pumps, air conditioning, watermakers, galley loads, and other inductive equipment in the calculation.
The vessel must have a properly designed closed cooling circuit with enough thermal capacity for the engine and generator. This keel-cooled model should not be substituted for a raw-water heat-exchanger genset without verifying the cooling-system design.
Installation Considerations
Install the generator on a rigid vibration-isolated foundation with clearance for oil service, filters, coolant, electrical terminals, exhaust, and optional sound-enclosure panels. Connect the coolant system to the correctly sized keel cooler, grid cooler, or skin cooler, then verify flow, air bleeding, expansion capacity, and hose routing. Add diesel fuel feed and return, exhaust, ventilation, start battery, AC distribution, grounding, and shore-power transfer isolation. Installation and commissioning should be completed by a qualified marine generator technician.
Before Ordering
Confirm required continuous and surge load within 9.5 kW, 120/240V single-phase 60Hz compatibility, adequate closed-loop keel-, grid-, or skin-cooling capacity, available installation space, structural support for approximately 222 kg, sound-enclosure requirement, diesel fuel layout, exhaust route, ventilation, starting-battery circuit, AC distribution and transfer-switch design, grounding plan, service access, and qualified installation requirements before purchase.
