Humminbird APEX 13 CHO VX MSI+ Chartplotter/Fishfinder w/o Transducer

The Humminbird APEX 13 CHO is a 13.3-inch Full HD control head for anglers who want a large Humminbird chartplotter and fishfinder display without a bundled transducer. MEGA Side Imaging+, MEGA Down Imaging+, and Dual Spectrum CHIRP provide advanced sonar support, while Cross Touch combines touchscreen and keypad operation. Humminbird Basemap is included, with LakeMaster and CoastMaster mapping readiness.

Key Features

- 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen – Provides a large workspace for charts, sonar, and split-screen fishing data.
- 1920 x 1080 resolution – Shows detailed mapping and imaging information across the display.
- MEGA Side Imaging+, MEGA Down Imaging+, and Dual Spectrum CHIRP – Supports side, downward, and conventional fishfinding with suitable hardware.
- Cross Touch interface – Combines touchscreen and keypad operation in changing conditions on the water.
- LakeMaster and CoastMaster ready – Allows compatible Humminbird chart expansion beyond the included Basemap.

Who Is This For?

This control head suits tournament boats, offshore fishing rigs, center consoles, and Humminbird owners upgrading to a large Full HD display. It is useful when a compatible transducer is already installed or will be selected for a particular hull.

It is not ideal for buyers who need a complete fishfinder package because no transducer is included. The APEX 13 also needs more console space than XPLORE 10 or 12 displays.

Compatibility

Confirmed features include MEGA Side Imaging+, MEGA Down Imaging+, Dual Spectrum CHIRP, Cross Touch control, Humminbird Basemap, LakeMaster readiness, and CoastMaster readiness. The supplied information does not identify NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, radar, autopilot, WiFi, Bluetooth, or a specific compatible transducer. No named incompatible system was provided; verify Humminbird sonar and network requirements before installation.

Warranty & Support

Humminbird provides a 2-year limited warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The APEX 13 CHO is the display-only alternative to the bundled APEX 13 MSI+, retaining the 13.3-inch Full HD screen and advanced MEGA imaging while leaving the transducer open for separate selection. This helps with existing Humminbird installations, but sonar cannot be used until compatible hardware is connected. Choose the bundle for a complete installation; choose the CHO version for a custom setup.
