The Fischer Panda 10000x Performance IC is a fixed-speed marine diesel generator for 230V, 50Hz single-phase AC power systems. It delivers 8 kW continuous output, or 9.4 kVA, at 3,000 RPM and uses a Kubota Z482 two-cylinder diesel engine with a water-cooled permanent-magnet alternator. The generator is enclosed in a Fischer Panda MPL 3D sound-insulation capsule and is intended for yachts and powerboats with moderate to high onboard AC demand.
The unit uses dual-circuit freshwater and seawater cooling, a raw-water impeller pump, and an iControl remote panel with diagnostic display. A complete installation requires fuel supply and return plumbing, seawater intake and strainer, wet exhaust, ventilation, starting battery, AC distribution, shore-power transfer or interlock, grounding, circuit protection, and correctly rated marine cabling.
Key Specifications
- Fixed-speed heavy-duty marine diesel generator for 230V single-phase 50Hz AC systems.
- Provides 8 kW continuous output, equivalent to 9.4 kVA.
- Uses a Kubota Z482 two-cylinder diesel engine with 479 cc displacement.
- Operates at 3,000 RPM.
- Uses a water-cooled permanent-magnet alternator and dual-circuit freshwater and seawater cooling.
- Fuel consumption is listed at approximately 1.3 to 2.1 L per hour, depending on electrical load.
- Uses an MPL 3D sound-insulation capsule with a listed noise level of approximately 54 dB(A) at 7 m.
- Measures approximately 650 mm by 465 mm by 560 mm and has a listed dry weight of approximately 165 kg.
System Integration
This generator requires a full marine electrical and mechanical installation, including diesel fuel feed and return, seawater intake and strainer, wet exhaust system, ventilation, starting battery, AC circuit-breaker panel, shore-power transfer switch or interlock, grounding and bonding, and correctly rated cabling.
Confirm that onboard loads use 230V, 50Hz single-phase power and that expected continuous demand remains within 8 kW. Allow for starting surge, power factor, and simultaneous use of air conditioning, battery chargers, pumps, refrigeration, watermakers, and galley equipment before selecting generator capacity.
Installation Considerations
Mount the generator on a rigid vibration-isolated base with access for oil service, fuel filters, coolant, impeller, exhaust, electrical terminals, and sound-capsule maintenance. Ensure reliable cooling-water flow, safe exhaust routing, protected diesel plumbing, adequate ventilation, and correct electrical isolation from shore power. Test voltage, frequency, load response, cooling, alarms, shutdowns, and transfer-switch operation during commissioning.
Before Ordering
Confirm required continuous and surge electrical load within 8 kW, 230V single-phase 50Hz compatibility, available 650 mm by 465 mm by 560 mm installation space, structural support for approximately 165 kg, diesel fuel layout, seawater intake, exhaust route, ventilation capacity, starting-battery circuit, remote-panel cable route, AC distribution and transfer-switch design, grounding plan, service access, and qualified marine-generator installation requirements before purchase.
