Spinning twin high-lift cutting blades with commercial-grade V-twin power, the Stihl RZ 142 42in residential zero turn mower discharges clippings evenly across suburban acreage without turf clumps. Suburban homeowners lose valuable weekend hours when mowing with slow lawn tractors that struggle to trim around landscape beds and trees. This 42-inch zero-turn mower combines a welded fabricated steel deck with dual Hydro-Gear EZT transaxles and a 21.5HP V-twin engine, sweeping through dense grass at forward speeds up to 7 MPH.

Dual Hydro-Gear hydrostatic transaxles provide responsive zero-turn maneuverability, tracking straight along property borders and pivoting smoothly around obstacles. The deep fabricated deck structure generates high airflow velocity that lifts grass blades upright, dispersing fine clippings uniformly across the lawn. Operators select deck height quickly using an intuitive height adjustment pin paired with a foot-assist pedal, ensuring rapid clearance when crossing stone walkways and gravel drives.
