Overview

Owning the Rocket Espresso Macinatore Fausto Chrome means embracing both elegance and ease in your espresso preparation. This stepless grinder is infinitely adjustable, allowing you to make the tiniest, most nuanced adjustments while dialing in your grind, without being limited by a set amount of steps. Adjusting the grind size is effortless using the micrometric adjustment knob, which ingeniously repositions the bottom burr rather than the top. This means that when you need to remove the top burr for cleaning, your grind setting remains unaffected, allowing you to go straight back to grinding shots at the exact same setting as before. If this sounds familiar, you might be thinking of Eureka’s patented micrometric regulation system and burr design, and you’d be right; the Fausto is a Rocket-branded Eureka grinder, incorporating all of their innovative elements. It’s also programmable by time, a favorite feature of ours. This allows you to easily program the Fausto to dispense a single or double shot of espresso on demand, with timing adjustable within an impressive 1/10th of a second for ultimate consistency.

Features and Performance

Programming the Fausto is incredibly easy and requires no complicated menu navigation. Instead, you can simply select the shot you’d like to program on the intuitive touch screen display and use the plus or minus icons until the screen displays your preferred grind time. For manual grinding, you can press the single and double shot icons simultaneously. Freshly ground, fluffy coffee dispenses evenly down the chute into the center of your resting portafilter, which is conveniently propped up for hands-free grinding. To access the large 65mm flat burrs for cleaning, or just to swap between different roasts, the hopper can be stopped and easily removed. The Macinatore Fausto is available in both chrome and black, and proudly features Rocket’s signature branding. It not only looks the part when standing next to any of the machines in Rocket’s line, but its knockout high-performance will also easily keep pace with any of them too.
