Constructed with a heavy welded 10-gauge steel deck, the RedMax RZT61x 61in heavy duty zero turn mower withstands continuous multi-acre mowing across rugged estate properties. Stamped mower decks flex and twist over bumpy ground, resulting in uneven blade heights and premature weld fatigue. RedMax engineers this heavy-duty machine with an expansive 61-inch fabricated steel deck, a stiff tubular backbone, commercial Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 transaxles, and a 24HP commercial engine engineered to conquer dense grass without hesitation.

Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 transaxles with external spin-on filters provide durable hydraulic drive power up to 7.5 MPH, tracking straight along ditch lines and side slopes without drive wheel slippage. The fabricated deck features a reinforced front bullnose edge that deflects tree roots, metal edging, and hidden rocks without cracking weld seams. Operators remain comfortable through continuous mowing routes thanks to a high-back seat equipped with padded armrests mounted on vibration-isolating rubber dampers.
