OKUMA CEYMAR REELS (SMALL SIZES)

Okuma changed the way we shop for reels forever. While other famous manufacturers were adding jaw dropping technology, they were also charging a premium for it. Somehow, Okuma managed to change this paradigm of ‘technology costs’ and managed to put the kinds of features we have come to expect in more expensive reels, in models that we all can afford. The Ceymar range of spinning reels is a perfect example of Okuma devotion to affordable fishing. At Okuma, part their motto is “We deliver the motivation to hit the water…” Well, they do, and they also deliver fair prices so anglers of all levels of experience and financial access can afford to keep up with the newest developments in spin reel technology.

The Okuma Ceymar Spinning reels, sizes 25 or 30, are outstanding models for light weight estuary and river angling. Even the most critical eye will admire the sleek sports styling. The red trim on the ventilated spool sets the package alight, and the rotor design is reminiscent of a far more expensive technology made famous by Okuma Reels. But it doesn’t stop there. Do yourself a favour and read the list below and see all goodies Okuma have included in the Ceymar, all for an entry level price. 7 bearings no less…astonishing. One might consider the low price tag and expect the inclusions of an ancient timber centre pin. No. Okuma doesn’t play that way and will often put their high profile competitors to shame as they continually give their loyal customers so much more for so much less. The Ceymar Reel 25 and 30 models are ideal for anglers of all abilities but would make an outstanding gift for the newbie, ready to tackle all before them from land or boat, in their local river or estuary.

Features and Specifications

- When ordering choose from either size 25 or 30 (price is for 1 reel only)
- 7+1 Ball bearings included
- Brass pinion gear – machine cut to precision
- Body: Graphite narrow body design
- Spool: Aluminium
- Handle: Aluminium
- Comfortable EVA knob handles
- Heavy duty bail wire

Model Specific info

Model Ceymar 25 size

- Gear ratio: 5.0:1
- Line capacity mono approx (diameter mm/metres): 0.2/155, 0.25/120 or 0.3/85
- Approx Weight: 227g
- Max drag: 3kg
- Line Retrieve cm per crank: 64cm

Model Ceymar 30 size

- Gear ratio: 5.0:1
- Line capacity mono approx (diameter mm/metres): 0.2/240, 0.25/120 or 0.30/110
- Approx Weight: 232 grams
- Max drag: 6kg
- Line Retrieve cm per crank: 64cm
