Mercury Avator 5hp Electric Outboard 20ESH

Overview Mercury Avator 5hp Electric Outboard 20ESH

The Mercury Avator 5hp Electric Outboard 20ESH brings powerful electric propulsion to boaters who prefer direct tiller control. Designed to deliver performance comparable to a traditional 5hp four-stroke outboard, this electric motor offers instant acceleration, smooth power delivery, and whisper-quiet operation—without exhaust fumes or direct emissions.

With a 15-inch short shaft, the 20ESH is ideal for aluminum tiller boats, inflatables, jon boats, utility craft, and small sailboats.

Features and Performance

At the heart of the Avator 20ESH is an advanced transverse flux electric motor producing 2200 watts of prop-shaft output. This industry-first motor design delivers immediate torque and efficient power transfer, driving a high-thrust propeller optimized for extended runtime.

The modular battery architecture allows flexible setup and future expansion. The 20ESH uses a 2300Wh lithium battery (sold separately) and can be integrated with additional batteries via the Avator ecosystem for extended range. With electric starting, manual trim and tilt, and intuitive tiller steering, operation is simple, precise, and user-friendly.

Low vibration and near-silent performance make the Avator 20ESH especially well suited for quiet waterways, fishing areas, and marinas.
