The Hyperlite Time Machine Wakesurf Board is a fast surf-style board shaped by Aaron Stumpf for intermediate through pro-level riders who want strong down-the-line speed, snappy edge changes, and air-oriented wakesurfing. Its high-buoyancy EPS core sits inside DuraShell vacuum-finished compression-molded construction with layered glass and LAP rails. A dual concave base continues through the tail, while the wide diamond tail and 4-fin setup create a defined board profile for active carving and wake-driven acceleration.
The Time Machine is available in 4’7″ and 4’11” lengths. The 4’7″ board measures 55 inches long with 17.2 liters of volume for riders up to 190 lb, while the 4’11” version measures 59 inches with 19.4 liters for riders up to 240 lb. Futures fin boxes hold two included 3.5-inch Flux side fins and two 2-inch Drop trailer fins. A machined diamond EVA pad with tail kickpad provides defined foot placement during carves and airs.
Key Features of Hyperlite Time Machine Wakesurf Board
- Aaron Stumpf surf-style shape: The Time Machine is shaped by Aaron Stumpf for riders pursuing fast down-the-line flow, edge snaps, and air-oriented wakesurfing.
- High-buoyancy EPS core: The foam core creates the board’s lightweight internal structure beneath its DuraShell outer construction.
- DuraShell vacuum-finished construction: Compression-molded construction combines layered glass composite materials with LAP construction rails.
- Dual concave base: The concave hull continues through the tail to shape water flow and maintain down-the-line drive.
- Wide diamond tail: The broad tail outline creates a defined rear platform for quick acceleration and active wake carving.
- Quad Futures fin system: Four Futures fin boxes accept the included two 3.5-inch Flux side fins and two 2-inch Drop trailer fins.
- Machined EVA deck traction: A diamond-pattern EVA pad with tail kickpad provides a clear stance surface for carves, turns, and air attempts.
- Two size options: Choose the 4’7″ board for riders up to 190 lb or the 4’11” size for riders up to 240 lb.
For Fast Down-the-Line Wakesurfing
The Time Machine is designed for intermediate, advanced, and pro riders who want a surf-style board for faster down-the-line riding, sharper rail turns, and bigger air attempts behind a properly equipped surf boat. Choose the 4’7″ size for riders up to 190 lb or the 4’11” model for riders up to 240 lb. Install the four included fins securely in the Futures boxes, use the tail kickpad as a rear-foot reference, and ride only on a properly shaped wakesurf wave.
Why Choose Hyperlite Time Machine Wakesurf Board
This board gives riders a defined high-speed surf-style configuration with an EPS core, DuraShell construction, dual concave base, wide diamond tail, quad-fin layout, and traction pad with tail kick. The included Flux side fins and Drop trailer fins create a complete initial fin setup, while the 4’7″ and 4’11” sizes make it easier to match board volume and length with the rider’s stated weight range. It is built for riders who want more active carving and wake-driven speed.
Warranty and Product Care
