Constructed with a heavy welded 10-gauge steel deck, the Husqvarna Z242F 42in 18HP Kawasaki zero turn mower withstands continuous residential mowing across rugged terrain with fabricated durability. Budget stamped-deck mowers flex and twist over uneven lawns, resulting in uneven blade heights and premature chassis fatigue. Husqvarna engineers this machine with a fully fabricated 42-inch ClearCut steel deck, a stiff tubular backbone, and a commercial-grade 18HP Kawasaki FR600V engine engineered to conquer dense grass without hesitation.

Dual Hydro-Gear EZT maintenance-free transaxles deliver smooth steering control up to 6.5 MPH forward speed, pivoting around flower borders, bird baths, and patio corners. The deep 4.5-inch ClearCut deck pulls air upward, lifting limp grass blades for a crisp, level cut across manicured bluegrass, fescue, and ryegrass. A plush high-back seat cushions the operator against ground bumps, turning routine property upkeep into an enjoyable ride.
