Overview Honda 250hp iST Outboard BF250DK1UDA

The Honda BF250DK1UDA iST Outboard is designed for large offshore boats that demand extra shaft length, strong mid-range torque, and refined electronic control. With its 30-inch XX-Long shaft, this model is ideal for high-freeboard hulls and heavy offshore applications. Its modern styling is inspired by the flagship BF350 V8, combining premium aesthetics with serious marine engineering.

Features and Performance

At its core is a 3,583 cc six-cylinder EFI four-stroke engine, delivering smooth acceleration, consistent power delivery, and quiet operation. The Intelligent Shift & Throttle (iST) system offers precise drive-by-wire control, enabling smooth shifting, responsive throttle input, cruise control, and automatic trim support.

Honda enhanced durability with an extreme-duty gearcase, reinforced starter motor mounting, optimized combustion chamber geometry, and upgraded oil pump and gasket designs. The two-pass cooling system improves thermal efficiency, while corrosion-resistant components help extend service life in saltwater conditions. Maintenance access is simplified through an easy-lift engine cover and improved service points.
