The Espresso Grinder Etzinger etzMAX LM is an energy-efficient, on-demand espresso grinder expertly designed to meet the demands of commercial workloads. This grinder offers the flexibility of choosing between timed and grind-by-weight dosing, allowing you to program up to three accurate doses for each method. Its innovative modular construction ensures that upgrading individual components and cleaning the grind chamber is remarkably easy, often requiring nothing more than unscrewing the bottom burr—no tools needed.

Features and Performance

Etzinger’s etzMAX LM provides ultimate dosing flexibility, giving you the option to dispense grounds precisely by weight using the internal Acaia scale, or by time. Doses are programmed with impressive accuracy, within 1/10th of a gram or second, depending on your chosen operating mode. To ensure consistent accuracy, the etzMAX LM also ships with a 500g calibration weight for recalibrating the built-in scale as needed. Experience an impressive grind speed of up to 3.4 grams per second of perfectly pillowy, clump-free grounds, thanks to its effective anti-static jig.

Precise Adjustment and Modular Design

Adjustments to grind size are handled through a combination of stepped macro-adjustments for broader changes, which are then fine-tuned with stepless micro-adjustments. This dual system allows you to dial in precisely for any coffee and any brewing method. A standout feature is the modular design of the etzMAX LM, which allows you to disassemble the grinder for cleaning or to upgrade individual parts effortlessly, all without requiring any tools. This significantly simplifies maintenance and extends the grinder’s lifespan.

Durable Build and Thoughtful Accessories

Crafted from durable, high-quality aluminum, the etzMAX LM is a robust grinder built to last a lifetime with proper care. It comes standard with a 200g bean hopper and a useful set of two included brushes: one specifically for cleaning the burrs, and another for brushing off any loose grounds. The included portafilter funnel is perfectly compatible with 58mm portafilters and serves as an optional tool to prevent stray grinds from making their way onto your counter, ensuring a clean workspace. The grinder can also be easily converted to operate as a single-dosing grinder (with a separately sold kit), further enhancing its versatility.
