DuroMax XP13000E 13000W Peak Portable Generator – Gas

Power commercial food truck cooking batteries with the DuroMax XP13000E Portable Generator, generating 10500W running and 13000W starting surge capacity for mobile restaurants and commercial backup installations. Driven by a 500cc OHV engine, it distributes 120V and 240V power across high-amperage outlets. It prevents inventory loss during grid collapse while handling large inductive refrigeration compressor spikes.

An all-steel 1.25-inch roll cage wraps around the engine block to withstand physical worksite contact. The 500cc single-cylinder OHV engine contains a durable cast-iron sleeve to ensure long operating life under prime workloads. Unladen dry weight measures 234 lbs within overall dimensions of 29 inches long by 30 inches wide by 26 inches high. This DuroMax gas generator houses an 8.3-gallon fuel tank that delivers 8.5 hours of continuous runtime at half load.

Key Features of DuroMax XP13000E

Food service contractors buy DuroMax XP13000E commercial power equipment to energize heavy commercial freezers and commercial ventilation hoods during severe utility outages. High copper winding density in the alternator withstands repeated motor startup current spikes.

- 10500W running output energizes multiple commercial prep tables and griddles simultaneously.
- 13000W surge capacity handles high inductive motor startup current without breaker trips.
- 500cc four-stroke engine produces strong mechanical torque for heavy electrical demands.
- 8.3-gallon fuel tank enables 8.5 continuous hours of operation at 50 percent load.
- NEMA 14-50R 50A receptacle equips this XP13000E portable generator for full transfer switch integration.
- Automatic voltage regulator holds voltage swings within strict limits to protect equipment motors.
- Electric key start delivers prompt engine ignition without physical recoil effort.

Inductive Motor Starting Surge Tolerances

Built with 100 percent copper windings, this XP13000E portable generator alternator handles severe reactive motor inrush currents from reach-in coolers and ventilation fans. Operating noise reaches 74 dB(A) at 23 feet under 50 percent load. The automatic voltage regulator responds within cycles to large motor startups, holding line drop to minimal levels so that walk-in cooler compressors and exhaust fans start without tripping secondary branch breakers.

Perimeter Setback Transfer Switch Fitment

Install the generator outside with a minimum perimeter clearance of 5 feet from doors, windows, and flammable surfaces. Direct hot engine exhaust away from mobile prep trailers to prevent hazardous fume accumulation. Connect to building transfer switches through the 50A outlet or 30A twist-lock port using heavy four-wire generator cords.

Chassis Transit Usability Servicing Rules

Electric key ignition provides simple starting, while large solid wheels and folding handles permit controlled transit across packed worksite terrain. This open-frame generator is NOT engineered for indoor kitchen basements, unventilated food truck compartments, or operating sensitive digital audio processors without dedicated line filters.

- Drain and refill engine crankcase oil every 50 runtime hours.
- Clean the foam air cleaner element every 100 runtime hours.
- Drain fuel from the carburetor float bowl before non-use exceeding 30 days.
