Suburban acreage managers relying on the Cub Cadet Ultima ZTS2 54in steering wheel zero turn mower eliminate sliding on steep retention ponds and roadside ditches. Operating heavy cutting decks across rolling ground puts severe side-load strain on drive wheels, which causes standard mowers to slide sideways and scalp turf. Cub Cadet equips this heavy-duty machine with Synchro-Steer four-wheel control, an expansive 54-inch fabricated AeroForce deck, and commercial Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 transaxles engineered to master 20-degree slopes.

Dual Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 transaxles incorporate internal charge pumps to maintain fluid pressure, driving large 20-inch rear drive tires at forward speeds up to 7.5 MPH. The heavy welded 2-inch tubular steel chassis resists torsional twist when crossing drainage swales, keeping the cutting deck level for a scalp-free turf finish. An adjustable high-back suspension seat with padded armrests isolates the operator from harsh ground bumps, ensuring comfortable all-day mowing across uneven acreage.
