Suburban acreage managers relying on the Cub Cadet ZT2 60in zero turn mower eliminate transmission overheating and lost cutting time on large properties. Operating wide cutting decks across rough ground strains light-duty transmissions, causing fluid breakdown and sluggish steering on hot summer afternoons. Cub Cadet equips this heavy-duty machine with commercial-grade Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 serviceable transaxles, an expansive 60-inch fabricated 11-gauge AeroForce deck, and a high-displacement 24HP commercial engine built to maintain full cutting speed.

Dual Hydro-Gear ZT-2800 transaxles incorporate external spin-on oil filters and steel cut gears, delivering positive wheel torque up to 7.5 MPH forward transport speed. The heavy welded 2-inch tubular steel chassis resists torsional twist when crossing drainage swales, keeping the cutting deck level for a scalp-free turf finish. An adjustable high-back suspension seat with padded armrests isolates the operator from harsh ground bumps, ensuring comfortable all-day mowing across uneven acreage.
