Precision Temperature Control and Shot Timing

The E61 brew group incorporates a temperature-regulating thermosyphon, which consistently helps to maintain optimal temperatures at the group head. Speaking of temperature stability, the integrated PID controller allows you to make precise adjustments to the boiler temperature in 1-degree increments. This level of control enables you to experiment with different brew profiles for various coffee roasts, unlocking new flavors. The PID also cleverly doubles as a shot timer during extractions, providing real-time feedback for perfect espresso.

Versatile Water Source Options

The Sole is designed for ultimate versatility: you have the option to plumb it directly to a water line for continuous operation, or utilize its massive 4-liter internal reservoir, minimizing the frequency of refills. For even further experimentation with specialty coffees, you can order the Sole with an installed flow control device, allowing you to manipulate the flow rate during extraction for unique flavor profiles.
