Overview

The Bezzera DUO MN Espresso Machine Stainless is truly an instant classic, combining a crisp stainless steel body with elegant rosewood detailing. Its subtly puffed side panels immediately hint at the powerful dual boilers residing within. This machine bridges the gap between traditional aesthetics and modern functionality, offering an unparalleled brewing experience for discerning coffee enthusiasts.

Features and Performance

As a sister machine to the Matrix MN, the DUO MN shares many impressive features. The most notable is its vibrant touchscreen display, which provides intuitive control over the dual PIDs that manage the individual temperatures for both the brew and steam boilers. The display clearly presents the brew temperature on the left and the steam temperature on the right, ensuring precise oversight.

Advanced Controls and Connectivity

With just a few clicks on the touchscreen, you can easily program the machine to turn on and off at specific times, switch between reservoir and plumbed operation, and access various maintenance cycles. The display also conveniently alerts you to low water levels in the reservoir and reminds you when to replace or recharge your water filter. For ultimate convenience and uninterrupted brewing, you can plumb the machine directly into a water line. With the Bezzera DUO MN, you can brew more, worry less, and savor cup after cup of premium espresso.

Traditional Design Meets Modern Technology

While the machine is aesthetically geared towards the traditionalist with its classic lines, the inclusion of a 3.5-inch touch display is thoroughly modern. A traditional E61 group head continuously syphons water in a circuit from the brew boiler, through the group head, and back, ensuring even greater thermal stability. We particularly appreciate the DUO MN’s automated pre-infusion cycle, programmable via the touchscreen, which pre-wets the coffee grounds for maximum flavor extraction before the traditional lever system begins brewing.

Operating the DUO MN is straightforward thanks to its intuitive push-button and toggle controls, with each function clearly designated by a stylized icon. Steaming is also a breeze; the rosewood steam knob toggles on for powerful steaming, and flipping it up locks it into place for an uninterrupted steam flow, perfect for creating rich microfoam.

Why You Should Buy It

We consider the Bezzera DUO MN Espresso Machine Stainless to be a beyond capable dual-boiler machine, packed with modern transformations. The touchscreen display is a genuine pleasure to use, offering surprisingly deep levels of functionality and control. The inclusion of PID controllers provides incredible temperature stability, which can be accessed and adjusted to your precise liking directly through the touchscreen display. If you appreciate the timeless elegance of traditional espresso machines but desire the precision, consistency, and convenience of modern technology, the DUO MN is an exceptional choice for your home coffee bar.
