Tackle overgrown commercial turf acreage with the Ariens Apex 60in 24HP Kawasaki zero turn mower to maximize daily mowing acreage and contractor billing potential. Municipal parks, school district athletic fields, and large commercial tracts demand broad cutting swaths that finish multi-acre jobs fast. Ariens matches this machine with a 60-inch fabricated 10-gauge steel deck and a high-displacement 24HP Kawasaki FR730V V-twin engine, producing clean turf striping at forward speeds up to 8 MPH.

Commercial-grade Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 transaxles incorporate steel cut gears and charge pumps to maintain hydraulic line pressure during hot afternoon mowing. The deep 5.5-inch deck profile pulls air upward through the cutting chamber, discharging dense grass clippings uniformly across the lawn without windrowing. A spring-assisted foot deck lift allows the operator to raise the heavy 60-inch deck instantly when approaching concrete curbs or buried utility valves.

Engine Architecture of Ariens Apex 60in

- 60-Inch Welded 10-Gauge ENVY Deck: Fabricated steel deck with reinforced edges provides wide acreage coverage and maximum discharge velocity.
- 24HP Kawasaki FR730V V-Twin Engine: Supplies 726cc of high-torque displacement to power through dense turf without RPM fade.
- Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 Commercial Drives: Serviceable transaxles deliver smooth forward drive control and positive zero-radius turning.
- Automotive Style Tubular Frame: Welded 3-inch by 1.5-inch steel tube structure provides an unyielding foundation for commercial use.
- Adjustable High-Back Suspension Seat: Incorporates padded armrests and seat springs to isolate the operator from terrain shocks.
- Constant Belt Tensioning System: Self-adjusting idler arm maintains correct deck belt tension to eliminate manual adjustment downtime.

Commercial Advantages & Heavy-Duty Build

This wide-area zero-turn mower provides the commercial stamina required to maintain multi-acre facilities on strict weekly schedules.

- A fabricated 60-inch 10-gauge deck covers up to 4.8 acres per hour, reducing labor hours and operator payroll on large mowing contracts.
- Greaseable cast-aluminum spindle assemblies dissipate heat rapidly to extend internal high-speed bearing life under full-throttle operation.

Acreage Productivity & Gate Navigation

Requiring 64 inches of clearance with the heavy-duty discharge chute in the upright transport position, this machine is engineered for wide open corporate campuses, public parks, and estate acreage with wide perimeter gates.
